Food from the Foothills

Our farm is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada,
and we are blessed with a nearly year round growing season.
We start our first round of seeds in January, keeping them nice and warm in the greenhouse
until our first planting in February.
​Harvest runs from January through November. We are dedicated to growing high quality and healthy food; healthy for both our customers and our land. We consider ourselves to be more than produce farmers, we are also soil farmers – that means using organic compost, cover crops, and deliberate crop rotation in order to replenish and build our soils every season, without the use of tractors. ​
