Food from the Foothills
Our farm is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada,
and we are blessed with a nearly year round growing season.
We start our first round of seeds in January,
keeping them nice and warm in the greenhouse
until our first planting in February.
Harvest runs from January through November.
We are dedicated to growing high quality and healthy food; healthy for both our customers and our land. We consider ourselves to be more than produce farmers, we are also soil farmers – that means using organic compost, cover crops, and deliberate crop rotation in order to replenish and build our soils every season, without the use of tractors.
